Tangipa says these actions are not sitting right with him, after the area he serves, Fresno, Calaveras, and Inyo counties, have been impacted by high insurance rates.
“These are also in some of the highest high-risk, high-fire areas. They are pricing them out of the market so that they can’t even live in their own homes. Now, with the dereliction and negligence from the insurance commissioner,” said Tangipa.
