Assemblymember David Tangipa, a Fresno State alum and whose district represents the school, spoke on his efforts to reject the cuts from the budget.
“There were actually quite a few of us from both sides of the aisle that are CSU grads that wanted to get together and say that higher education was part of our priority,” Tangipa said.
