State Assemblyman David Tangipa, who is a member of the Assembly Election Committee, says he’d like to see ballots counted sooner leading up to election day.
“I think there’s a lot of people who feel either weird or it just doesn’t make us feel comfortable with the results of the election when we have the election day and then for 30 days, we don’t know who won, who didn’t win, that somebody could be in the lead for two weeks and then all of a sudden at the end, they’re down by 150 votes and it’s a certified election,” Tangipa said.
